Sheriff Turner reminds you to slow down today, on our roadways. With the rain we had this morning and the possibility of more yet to come, we could get some ponding on the streets and routes throughout the County. Other things to remember: Use headlights when your wipers are in use (GA State Law), allow the proper distance between yours and other cars ("3 second rule" - But, keep in mind, that it takes longer to slow down/stop on a wet road), be extra careful around any school bus, drive slowly through shallow puddles (don't traverse through puddles of uncertain depth) and... As ALWAYS, BUCKLE UP!
