TCSO Deputies en route to a report of a Burglary at Sun South (3452 Hogansville Road) discovered that the front door's plate glass window had been shattered. From there, surveillance video shows two suspects entering the main show room and removing approximately 24 pieces of lawn care equipment. The suspects wore masks, hats and dark-colored clothing. Moving quickly throughout the store, the subjects stuffed the products inside a mini van and fled the location before Deputies arrived.
Sheriff Donny Turner cautions citizens when purchasing lawn care (and electronic) equipment, to be certain that the brand new products are being properly sold by a licensed distributor before buying.
