On 11/9/11, Troup County Sheriff’s Office Investigators received an anonymous Crime Stoppers tip, indicating that a subject wanted for Burglary and Failure to Appear in Court (both charges) by Harris County was inside a residence in the 100 block of Mitchell Avenue of LaGrange.
Upon arrival, TCSO Deputies and Investigators immediately located & identified the subject and placed him under arrest. Heraldo Rivera Robinson was then transported to the Troup County Jail without further incident, pending extradition to Harris County.
Sheriff Donny Turner would like to say thank you to our citizens for being observant, and notifying the Troup County Crime Stoppers Hotline at (706)812-1000. As in this case, everything flowed as it should in order to preserve the safety and peace in our community. Good job!!!
