The Troup County Crime Stoppers Board is delighted to announce that 2011 has been another terrific year for keeping our community safe by putting the brakes on crime!
Over the past year, the Troup County Crime Stoppers Hotline has received 941 anonymous tips, leading to more than 41 arrests; and, consequently, over $4,800.00 in cash rewards were recommended by the Law Enforcement authorities of our community who occupy the board. Outside our jurisdiction 11 other agencies also benefitted from your tips.
Perhaps most importantly, we could not have had such great success without YOU! Remember, you should always dial 911 for emergencies. However, any information that you submit confidentially to (706)812-1000 will be forwarded along immediately to the appropriate Law Enforcement Agency… 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week! Regardless of how irrelevant, or insignificant, you may feel your information to be; nonetheless, your call could be the one that cracks the case.
We appreciate the citizens of Troup County, and their compassion and concern for the safety of our neighborhoods. Again, from everyone on the Troup County Crime Stoppers Board, thank you! May 2012 be just as successful.
