Sheriff Donny Turner reminds you that First Responders may be the initial help arriving on the scene of an emergency... However, there are other agencies that provide support when our neighbors experience a crisis. The Georgia Three Rivers Chapter of the American Red Cross was there with us, recently, when the tornadoes rolled through Troup County. They also assisted during the Mountville Arson Investigation by providing much needed food, clothing and shelter for some of the victims. On Tuesday, a family on Weathers Drive lost all of their belongings in a house fire. When the smoke cleared - The Red Cross was there... Let's show them our support!
